This 5-day adventure offers a perfect blend of natural wonder and wild exploration across two iconic African destinations. Your journey begins in Victoria Falls, staying at the tranquil Pioneers Lodge (or similar). After a morning guided tour through the misty rainforest to witness the world’s largest curtain of falling water, you’ll spend a magical evening on a Zambezi River Dinner Cruise, enjoying gourmet cuisine as the sun sets over the water.
The adventure continues as you cross into Botswana for a premier safari experience at Chobe National Park. Staying at the riverfront Chobe Safari Lodge (or similar), you’ll be immersed in a region world-renowned for having the highest concentration of elephants on earth. Your time here is packed with diverse wildlife encounters, including an expert-led sunrise game drive to track big cats and a scenic afternoon boat cruise on the Chobe River. Once you arrive at Victoria Falls International Airport (VFA), you will be picked up and transferred to your place of accommodation – Victoria Falls Pioneers Lodge (or similar). It is important that you let us know your flight details beforehand, as the collection time will depend on the arrival time of your flight.

Embraced by verdant gardens and meticulously maintained lawns, the lodge’s spacious rooms are elegantly adorned in a timeless design, each providing an unobstructed view of the garden. Day 2: Morning Guided Victoria Falls Tour & Afternoon Zambezi River Dinner Cruise
To kickstart your day, a delicious and satisfying breakfast awaits you this morning. At 08:30 AM, your driver-guide will be ready to pick you up from the lodge reception, marking the beginning of an action-packed guided tour of Victoria Falls.
The experience takes you through parts of the Victoria Falls rainforest to the cliffs opposite the massive cascade. The typical duration of the Victoria Falls guided tour is around 3 hours.
We recommend grabbing an early lunch after your Victoria Falls excursion (for your own account). Complementary transfers for your lunch will be provided. Your guide can assist you to choose the best spots for a delicious meal.
This afternoon you will embark on an exhilarating Zambezi River Dinner Cruise. Your driver will collect you from the lodge’s reception, between 15:30 PM to 16:00 PM, for a short transfer to the boating station.
Experience the beauty and the excitement of one of Africa’s most stunning destinations on this Zambezi River dinner cruise. Get an up-close look at iconic Victoria Falls and enjoy Zambezi-style cuisine as you float along this popular river with world-class service and meals prepared by an executive chef to enrich your experience. You will cruise along the peaceful banks of the river, in search of fascinating wildlife, and observe as the sky fills with vibrant shades of pink and orange – altogether crafting a truly serene atmosphere.

Day 3: Morning Chobe Transfer & Afternoon/Sunset Game Drive
After an early morning breakfast, you will have time to prepare before your pickup transfer arrives at 10:00 AM this morning, ready to depart to the Kazungula Border (Zimbabwe/ Botswana Border). Upon reaching the border crossing, our dedicated Botswana Team will be on hand to greet you and facilitate a seamless border crossing process. Be sure to have your passports ready, and the visa on arrival costs (normally USD 50.00 per person – for your own account).
You will be transferred to Chobe Safari Lodge for check-in, with some time to relax and explore the premises, before departing on your afternoon game drive. Situated on the banks of the mesmerizing Chobe River, Chobe Safari Lodge is nestled in a prime spot, offering abundant wildlife sightings (incl. hippos and elephants), with breathtaking vistas and a serene atmosphere at the bar area overlooking the river.
This afternoon, you will be collected for a thrilling afternoon/ sunset game drive in Chobe National Park. As the day transitions to evening, golden hues of the setting sun offer a mesmerizing backdrop for your safari adventure. Residential wildlife become more active as the heat of the day subsides, creating more opportunities for thrilling sightings. Your experienced guide will navigate through the park, providing insightful information and ensuring you have an unforgettable safari experience.
Afterwards, you will be returned to Chobe Safari Lodge to unwind and enjoy dinner (for your own account). The restaurant area, characterized by its high thatched roof and open-air layout, provides a magnificent view of the Chobe River, the deck, and the pool areas.

Day 4: Morning & Afternoon Chobe River/Reserve Game Drive
As the sun rises, you’ll awaken to the harmonious symphony of diverse bird calls, ushering in the start of a new day. Indulge in a delightful coffee/ tea before embarking a thrilling early morning Chobe game drive. This time of day offers prime opportunities to spot majestic big cats such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs.
Once collected, you will proceed straight to the Chobe National Park where we spend the morning game viewing along in an open 4×4 safari vehicle. The morning venture ends around 09:30 AM, after which you will then be returned to Chobe Safari Lodge for a delightful and filling breakfast. You will have some leisure time to utilize the lodge’s enticing amenities, catch up on some relaxation, or observe nearby wildlife drinking and frolicking along the banks of the Chobe River.
Early afternoon, you will be treated to a mouth-watering buffet-style lunch, either at Chobe Safari Lodge or Cresta Mowana Hotel, to replenish your energy for the day and enjoy unparalleled views of the serene Chobe River.
You will be collected around 15:00 PM from the lodge’s reception area for your scenic safari boat cruise on the alluring Chobe River. Encounter the majesty of vast herds of wildlife within Chobe National Park, as they gracefully converge at the river’s edge and onto its verdant islands, savouring the lush grasses. Here, the world’s highest concentration of elephants roams freely, often making their crossing through the Chobe River. Sunlit riverbanks provide a haven for hippos and crocodiles, while the landscape is graced by buffalo, giraffes, and other plains game.
You will be dropped at the lodge afterwards. Dinner will be for your own account – we can transfer you to a restaurant of your choice or assist with arranging meals at the lodge.

Day 5: Morning Relaxation & Departure Transfer
After enjoying a delightful breakfast at a slow pace this morning, you will have some time to prepare for a transfer you to Kasane Airport (or Victoria Falls Airport at an additional cost). The pick-up time will depend on your flight details. Yor pick up time is normally 2 hours before the flight departure time from Kasane Airport.

The most convenient option is to fly to Victoria Falls Airport, where our friendly team will meet you are arrivals, and transfer you to your accommodation.
Option 2 – Arriving by self-drive:
Every now and then, we get enquiries by guests wanting to arrive by self-drive. While this is certainly possible, please note that it will be your own responsibility to arrive on time to not negatively affect the times stipulated in the standard tour itinerary. Arriving late, getting lost etc will result in a forfeit of activities not join on time. Please note that some lodges are only accessible for rough gravel roads, requiring a high clearance vehicle (full 4×4 not necessary).
FAQ – What happens if I have a question on the day my tour starts, or cannot find my transport?
For urgent problems and delays – please give us a call / WhatsApp message on the phone number provided before your departure date. A dedicated booking consultant will always be available to assist.
Malaria Information
Victoria Falls and Chobe National Park are both high-risk malaria areas, with peak risk times during the warmer months (October to April). While we may not give direct recommendations on malaria prophylaxis, we urge you to speak to your doctor or medical professional for authorized medical advice on the matter.
Proper precautions and measures can however go a very long way, including:
- A proper mosquito repellant – the easiest is in a spray form (e.g. Peaceful Sleep or Tabard)
- A room mosquito spray (e.g. Peaceful Sleep or Doom) to keep the room mosquito free
- Wearing light trousers and long sleeve shirts in the early morning or evening
- Keeping you room / tent door closed to keep bugs outside.
- We also recommend an “after bite” lotion or spray if you get bitten by a mosquito (not a malaria cure, but it takes away the itch!)

- Availability & Pricing: All packages are subject to availability at the time of booking. Rates are indicative, based on current Rate of Exchange (ROE), and are only finalised upon receipt of a formal quote and at least a deposit payment (if a deposit is applicable).
